The different campuses of the Indian Institute of Management are considered some of the best schools for management in that country, and in Asia as well, with the Bangalore campus being considered one of the best of the IIM campuses.

Is an Executive MBA worth it? : MBA vs. EMBA

It is very difficult to get into these schools as the majority of the candidates who apply for programs at the IIM do not get in.

Only a very small percentage of candidates are accepted, with some programs having acceptance rates as low as 0.2%.

This percentage of acceptance is even smaller than that of many famous east coast schools in the United States. Some of the more popular program options include the IIMB Executive Mba programs.

There are a few different IIMB Executive Mba and MBA options available.

These include the Advanced Management Programme for Senior Managers, the Executive General Management Programme for Middle Managers, the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management, the Fellow Programme in Management, General Management Programme for IT Professionals, the Post Graduate Programme in Management, the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management and the Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management.

Which program you apply to depends on the level of your management experience, the level of you educational experience, and the industry that you are working in.

These specialized programs allow the school to tailor the programs a bit more and give students the most important information for them based on their career needs.

In order to be considered for acceptance into one of the IIMB Executive Mba programs, you will need to take the Common Admission Test (or CAT) and achieve a satisfactory score.

Other factors are also taken into account, including your past academic record and the business experience that you have. Usually executive MBA programs do not allow those without work experience, sometimes quite significant work experience, to gain entrance into their programs.

A personal interview is also required for those who are being considered for acceptance. As the admissions process for Iimb Executive Mba programs is so competitive you might not be able to get into the program on your first try. You might want to consider applying to other programs as well.
